To see what career opportunities we have available, explore below to find your next career!The Chief of Clinical Services (Critical Care Physician) is responsible for providing critical medical care services within the standard of care for critical care patients in on-site clinic health units or events for rapid deployments to support emergency and disaster efforts. This is a temporary position and length of assignment may vary based on operational needs and client requirements.Location : Nationwide**This position is notional and contingent upon contract award****Duties and Responsibilities:Provides medical services at the scope and level of a Critical Care Physician to preserve the health of employees and client personnel.Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide patients with critical medical care services.Systematically assesses the urgent or emergent health needs of patients, analyzes data, and formulates a plan of care with other members of the medical team.Recognizes and treats illnesses and injuries according to established operating instructions within the scope of licensure and regulations.Records and maintains patient information in accordance with standard protocols and the Privacy Act.Identifies and records the signs and symptoms of physical and mental conditions.Thoroughly exercises skill in initiative, judgment, problem-solving and decision-making daily.Protects patients' privacy through confidentiality and infection control procedures.Diagnoses the patient's ailment and immediately starts treatment.Orders diagnostic tests on the patient as required.Prescribes pharmaceuticals, medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified medical conditions.Discusses potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients.Documents treatment orders for each patient and ensures compliance.Responsible for ensuring integrity and security of all privacy laws.Maintains professionalism, ethical standards, discretion, and confidentiality of all company proprietary information.Performs duties in a safe manner and follows the corporate safety policy.Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contract requirements.QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate from an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree. Active and unrestricted Physician License.3 years post-qualification experience as a Physician in ICU/ER.ACLS and BLS certification.Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent verbal and communication skills.Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as MS Office products.Ability to perform duties in a stressful and high-paced environment.Willingness to travel in the U.S. as needed.Preferred Qualifications:3 years' experience as a Chief Medical Officer.3 years Critical Care experience.3 years Infectious Disease experience.3 years Emergency Room experience.3 years Internist experience.Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.May require bending, stooping, and lifting as required for patient care.Acuity International is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
