RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client seeks a team of Java SpringBoot API Cloud Engineers with 5+ years of experience in Wilmington, DE (Philadelphia, PA area) for quick opportunity to join team as fulltime employees.Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance.Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation.Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity.Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development.Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems.Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.REQUIREMENTS:
5 years of Java Spring experience.Some kind of Cloud experience - the team uses AWS SQS.Java v11 experience is a must.SpringBoot experience - build APIs or MicroServices.MySQL, SQL or Postgres database experience.Experience with testing, team uses jUnit and creates Automated Test Cases or Deployment-CI/CD, team uses Jenkins & Jules pipelines.Exposure to Design and/or Design Solution Discussions is a plus.Messaging experience is a plus - the team uses Kafka.The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
