An active Top Secret / SCI clearance with the willingness to take and pass a polygraph exam is required for consideration for hire for this role. Work is to be performed 100% onsite with our Government Customer.
What You’ll Get To Do:As a Mid-level System Administrator, you’ll work individually or in a small integrated team to develop innovative solutions to enable secure and reliable operations of enterprise computer systems. You’ll develop new concepts and processes and analyze root causes and resolve complex issues utilizing your knowledge of the industry. You’ll perform systems administration of cyber tools sets and server systems connected to networks across multiple classification domains. You’ll provide support to developmental and operational systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices. Install, configure, and manage operating system and application software as necessary. You’ll support Windows and Linux systems engineering efforts in system design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development, or system administration.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a system administrator
Experience with operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux servers to include operating systems and applications, patching, and other updates
Experience with installing/configuring devices, applications, and security tools including Splunk and HBSS
Experience automating deployments and configuration management
Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework
TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a counter-intelligence polygraph
DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification requirements (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND)
DoD 8570.01-M Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) - Infrastructure Support (IS) certification requirements (currently CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND)
HS diploma or GED and seven years relevant experience, Associate’s degree and five years relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience
Nice If You Have:
Experience with operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux servers to include operating systems
Experience with installing/configuring Splunk and HBSS
Experience as a network administrator or systems engineer
Experience scripting in PowerShell and/or BASH command line interfaces
Experience in using Active Directory to manage Windows policies
Knowledge of different layers of the technology stack, including network, application frameworks, database systems, and vendor solutions
Knowledge of Git and Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence and Microsoft Visio (or like product) graphic and flowchart design
Experience creating system/network diagrams
Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) - Infrastructure Support (IS) certification (CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND)
