The IT Finance Architect is responsible for the design, deployment, and management of Finance Solutions supporting business operations. This position would be responsible for directing and guiding the IT Finance Team to resolve daily operational issues, manage user expectations with regards to deliverables and handling period close. Additionally, the IT Finance Architect would be responsible for contributing towards process roadmaps and improvements required to drive business operations.Essential FunctionsDesign, build and implement essential Finance functions needed for Business growth.Lead operational support processes/enhancements including transaction monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting.Lead and actively participate in all phases of system implementation including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, UAT, deployment and support.Control scope and requirement gathering and design sessions.Identify risks and benefits of alternate designs; calculate costs/benefits of potential actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI.Align departmental goals and objectives with business requirements.Develop Strategic goals and align to existing Business processes.Act as role model for administrative staff, ensuring department processes and company policies are adhered to.Provide input to departmental staff development plans.Provide status updates to IT Management team, keeping Managers apprised on operational and project status and issues.Work Experience2-3 cycles of ERP Cloud implementation experience with key focus on Costing and GL modules.2-3 cycles of EBS implementation experience or 5-6 years of EBS support experience with focus on Cost Management and General Ledger.Exposure to Global Consolidation in one or more of the above implementation/support areas.Exposure to Intercompany Accounting.Good functional knowledge of Management Reporting in a Manufacturing Environment (e.g., GMA Reporting, SG&A, Plant Income Statement).QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

10+ Years - Experience in Oracle ERP with last 5 years in a senior position within Finance.2 Years - Experience in ERP Cloud.3 Years - Experience in an architect role.4 Years - Experience managing project deliverables.

EducationMinimum Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
