We have an opportunity for you to apply your experience in deep learning frameworks, natural language processing, and Large Language Models (LLMs) for the DoD.As an advanced data scientist in Booz Allen’s Chief Data Office, you’ll work closely with a diverse team of professionals to understand client needs and solve complex problems through the application of artificial intelligence. You’ll mentor and learn from teammates, design and run advanced experiments, and evaluate multifaceted data. Join us as we advance the state-of-the-art in artificial intelligence.You Have:2+ years of experience applying data science techniques and machine learning algorithms and methodologies to solve real-world problemsExperience implementing data analysis within programming languages such as Python or R, including deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorchExperience analyzing complex data sets using data analysis and visualization software such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BIAbility to explain complex technical concepts to experienced and non-experienced groupsAbility to learn and apply unfamiliar software quickly and independentlyAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceBachelor's degree in Physics, Material Science, EE, Mathematics, Information Science, Data Science, or CSNice If You Have:5+ years of experience developing and implementing data science and machine learning applications or toolsKnowledge of LLMs built around transformer architecturesKnowledge of current research in Deep Learning for Natural Language ProcessingKnowledge of different software development approaches, including DevSecOps and AIOpsMaster’s degree in Physics, Material Science, EE, Mathematics, Information Science, Data Science, or CS preferred; Doctorate degree in Physics, Material Science, EE, Mathematics, Information Science, Data Science, or CS a plusIT Security Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD).
