Senior Solutions Architect

They're embedded in everything we do and how we do it!Hybrid Position - must be able to attend in person twice a week in Reston, Virginia.Job Summary:As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for working closely with internal stakeholders to analyze existing systems and integrations as well as designing the architecture for new and updated integrations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a mixture of hands-on coding as well as regular communication with stakeholders and vendors. Role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies including C#, SQL Server, and Azure (including Azure Service Bus), strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Key Responsibilities:Analyze current integration including API, web, process, and downstream data feeds.Analyze documentation on vendor API and integration options.Participate in technical calls with vendors to refine solutions.Work with internal stakeholders to ensure completeness of solutions.Create architecture diagrams for new/updated integrations.Assist in coding new integrations.Required Skills and Qualifications:Previous professional experience in a software architecture role using Microsoft technologies.Experience with C#, ASP.NET and .NET frameworks.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.Experience working in Azure environment.Experience with Web APIs.Strong communication, collaboration and general consulting skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Azure Service Bus is a big plus.Experience with Azure Databases.About Solution Street:Solution Street, a software engineering firm, was founded by a software developer who envisioned a safe haven for software engineers who wanted to work on interesting, fun projects.
