Software Engineer - Java / Python
with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Mission Technology Division working in Herndon, VA.We are looking for experienced Software Developers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services.RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science is preferred with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience with the following skillsets: Eclipse developmental duties, Git Hub, Dev Ops, Java, and Python.Candidate should have experience in security review of applications and infrastructure.2+ years' experience participating in agile activities.3+ years of RECENT Java or Python experience.Research new technologies in object-oriented programming.Experience in Cloud-based services.Works well in an engineering team environment with teammates of varied skill levels.Ability to mentor others.Preferred Skills:Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Docker, Vagrant, etc.Experience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Shell, etc.Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative ActionATS is committed to a program of equal employment opportunity without regard to race, color, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sex, pregnancy, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, religion/creed, handicap/disability, genetic information/history, military/veteran status, or any other characteristic or condition protected by federal, state or local law.
