We get to work across a diverse set of organizations and stakeholders to achieve our goals.Our Outbound & Flow team is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to deliver insights and analysis across our product portfolio. You will own metrics, dashboarding and measurement across platforms and products which help Fulfillment Centers (FCs i.e. Amazon Warehouses) around the world to operate efficiently by automating the flow of customer orders through the FC. These platforms/products optimize the various processes used to fulfill customer orders including picking, packing, shipping and other processes. Your work will directly influence Amazon business and customer promise.Key job responsibilities

Contribute to the design, implementation, and delivery of BI solutions for complex and ambiguous problemsAnalyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.Use data mining, model building, and other analytical techniques to develop and maintain customer segmentation and predictive models to drive the business.Conduct deep dive analyses of business problem statements and formulate conclusions and recommendations to leadershipIdentify opportunities and key criteria to drive analytical reporting and business strategyProduce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders that will help shape effective metric development and reportingSimplify and automate reporting, audits, and other data-driven activitiesPartner with Data Engineering to enhance data infrastructure, data availability, and broad access to customer insightsDevelop and drive best practices in data integrity, consistency, analysis, validations, and documentationLearn new technology and techniques to meaningfully support product and process innovationMinimum Qualifications

3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experienceExperience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelinesExperience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar toolsExperience writing complex SQL queriesExperience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and MatlabExperience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modelingExperience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and RedshiftExperience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasetsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
