To serve as the primary point of contact for all Security Department and Information Security technology support needs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Incumbents may perform any combination of the essential functions shown below. This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, knowledge, or abilities associated with this classification, but is intended to accurately reflect the essential job functions and responsibilities.Implement and monitor security controls to protect an organization’s data from cyber-attacks, loss, or unauthorized access.Responsible for responding to security incidents and identify security measures to improve incident response and take necessary actions.Perform security assessments, penetration tests and code audits to identify vulnerabilities.Research new attack vectors and develop threat models to anticipate potential risks.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Strong technical skillsThe ability to maintain and repair various types of computer and electronic devicesAbility to work collaboratively to achieve specific objectives.Preferred Qualifications:Ability to assess threats and vulnerabilities in networks and applications.Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field3-5 years of experience in installing, administering and monitoring firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention tools, SIEM tools, or other cybersecurity solutions.Cybersecurity certification from ISC2, SANS, or other leading organization for information security professionals is preferred.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
