More information is available at the Landis+Gyr website landisgyr.com.Responsibilities:Develop and build extremely reliable, scalable, and high-performing web applications for our clients.Review and understand business requirements ensuring that development tasks are completed within the timeline provided and that issues are fully tested with minimal defects.Collaborate with other developers to ensure that client needs are met at all times.Work in a rapid and agile development process.Implement good development and testing standards to ensure quality of deliverables.Experience:
6-8 YearsMust Have:6 to 8 years of experience in developing web applications primarily in J2EE environment with development experience in J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, WebLogic/WebSphere.Development of interfaces using SOAP/REST Web Services.Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, GWT, Spring MVC).Experience in the Spring Framework.Excellent understanding of OOPS concepts and JAVA programming language.Programming experience in relational platforms like MySQL, Oracle.Understanding of latest technologies and tools in the Java/JEE space.Strong technical knowledge of either J2EE application servers, databases.Good hands-on technical skills, especially Linux Shell experience (e.g., curl, grep), testing tools (e.g., SoapUI, Postman), SQL, JIRA, Confluence.Hands-on experience using Eclipse/IntelliJ IDEA, SVN, and GIT.Sound analytical skills.Experience with debugging and strict code reviews.Experience in a wide range of computer operating systems and software with emphasis on installation, troubleshooting, upgrading, integration, and client/server operations is desired.Experience working with APIs.Good communication skills.
