We are seeking an experienced
Endpoint Security Engineer
to join the OT Security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying and managing endpoint security tools within our complex operational environments, ensuring robust security of both Windows and Linux operating systems.Client: Information Technology company - Manufacturing UpliftWorking Location: On-site (Plano, Texas)Employment Type: ContractSalary: $68 - 70/hourBenefit: 401(k)MUST be willing to travel often to other sites
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions across the organization.Conduct regular system hardening and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.Collaborate with IT and manufacturing teams to ensure security best practices are followed.Develop and maintain documentation related to endpoint security procedures and protocols.Stay abreast of the latest security threats and technologies to enhance our security posture.
Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience in deploying endpoint security tools in complex environments.Proven experience in hardening Windows and Linux operating systems.Familiarity with manufacturing environments and the unique security challenges they present.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred:
Experience working in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
