Youth Director

Description:The youth director is to be a person of God, who has ordered their life in compliance with the teaching of Scripture and the example of the Lord. This person will be an example to the believers in personal godliness (1 Timothy 4:12) and to exemplify God’s requirements for a pastor which includes maintaining a proper Christian home (1 Timothy 3:17).Ministry Responsibilities:The youth director of National Heights Baptist Church is responsible for providing leadership and support for developing a comprehensive ministry program for the youth of our congregation. This person will:Assist believers, with a specific focus on youth, in developing a deeper understanding of the Lord Jesus Christ, experience greater fellowship with Him, and come to an ever-increasing awareness of God and His presence in their lives by a study of His Word.Enable the youth and families of this congregation to respond in faith to the Word of God, by knowledge and loving God, evidenced by relationships in which lives are increasingly transformed into the likeness of Christ. As they learn more of God’s truth, they learn to obey God’s Word, become responsible members of the church, love one another, and show their love for a lost world by sharing the gospel.Shepherd the youth, adult leaders, and families in the Youth ministry.Demonstrate a servant’s heart and a thankful spirit for the privilege of serving our Lord and Savior.Report to the Pastor with guidance from the personnel committee.Qualifications:1. Demonstrate training and competence in youth ministry sufficient to lead and develop the program.2. Demonstrate the biblical qualifications (Titus 1:6-9, 1 Timothy 3:1-7), heartily agree to the constitution and by-laws, beliefs, and practices of National Heights Baptist Church, and believe that God has truly called them into the ministry.To Apply:If interested in this position, please send a resume to
