A Computer Engineer for future support of the TACNET program in Norfolk, VA.As a Computer Engineer IV, you will:Join a well-established team that gives you the opportunity to growMaintain your clearanceReceive a robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan!Be a part of an empowered accountability culture where each employee-owner has a meaningful stake in the future success and growth of the companyA week in the life of a Computer Engineer IV:Perform computer engineering for support for Network Integration and Engineer Facility Atlantic group.Support pre-delivery to Alteration Installation Team (AIT) for shipboard installation and ISEA Shipboard Configuration and SOVT.Provide shipboard support for hardware and software issues through SOVT.Support ongoing CANES ship set activities across multiple baselines with varying schedules for execution.Job Requirements
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field or Bachelor's Degree and an additional 4 years of experienceActive Secret ClearanceAt least 10+ years of experience in:Computer design, software development, or computer networksAt least Five (5) years of technical experience in:Support of TACNET, or with COR approval, other Navy C4I systems.Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States.
