Dental, Vision, Teladoc, Employee Assistance Program.Prepare for the Future: 401K Retirement Plan with company matching.Rest and Relaxation: 4 weeks Paid Time Off, 9 Paid Holidays, and 2 Floating Holidays.Financial Peace of Mind: Company paid Short-Term Disability, Life and AD&D Insurance.Learning and Development: LinkedIn Learning.Additional Perks: Long-Term Disability Insurance, Accident/Critical Illness Insurance, Legal/Identity Theft Protection.Schedule: Monday through Friday - hybrid.Specific Duties Include:Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual fuel excise and sales tax returns.Reconciliation of tax liability accounts.Maintenance of tax exemption and tax rule database.Perform tax research as needed to ensure tax implications are in accordance with state filing requirements.Utilizes Avalara software for EDI reporting to various jurisdictions.Maintains detailed communication regarding tax notices received.Answers motor vehicle tax and sales tax questions by researching and interpreting state communications.Ensures all compliance requirements internal and external.Assist in State audits.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in accounting or finance.One to three years of Excise tax experience or more preferred.Advanced knowledge in Excel, lookups, pivots, formulas.Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and organization skills.Possess excellent communication skills.Works well under filing deadlines while meeting all assignments.World Kinect is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
