Field Insurance Advisor Apprentices
based in the
Cheshire/Lancashire
area to join our Home, SME, and Commercial Claims team.An apprenticeship with DLG will help you grow your career alongside your learning journey. You will work towards your
CII qualification
(Chartered Institute of Insurance) in your first year, followed by your
Level 4 Insurance Professional
qualification in your second and third years.Minimum Requirements:You’ll need to have already achieved:A*-C (9-4) GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.3 A-Levels at A*-C in any subject.Holding a degree in any subject at a grade 2:2 or above is desirable but not required. You will also need to commit to acquiring a full driving licence within the first year of the role if you do not already have one.You will be based from your home address but will need to attend our
Manchester
office approximately twice every 3 months for this role and attend an office of our choice during your first few weeks for training.What you’ll be doing:As a Field Insurance Advisor, you will support customers by visiting their homes or commercial premises to assist with claims. Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out field-led claim visits, completing on-site reporting, evidence gathering, and digital scoping.Providing additional support for vulnerable customers and other ad-hoc claim investigations.Reviewing digital evidence from an online portal for accurate cost scoping.Event/Surge deployment to assist customers as needed.Re-inspections in support of cost control and customer journey.Delivering excellent customer service.What we are looking for:We seek individuals with attention to detail, an analytical mentality, good communication skills, and a genuine interest in a career in insurance and customer service.Training Provided:As an apprentice at DLG, you’ll combine on-the-job practical skills with theoretical knowledge, paired with a dedicated mentor for support. You will attend both online and face-to-face learning sessions, with an End-Point-Assessment to demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and behaviours.What we’ll give you in return:We offer excellent benefits to suit your lifestyle and a flexible working model.
