The Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computers, servers, and storage networks. The individual is responsible for system performance, design, reliability, security, and optimization. They will actively participate in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the Information Technology business needs of the organization.Responsibilities:

Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, monitoring, and reliable operation of computer systems, virtual server environment, and storage networks.Perform patch management tasks including maintaining current knowledge of available patches, deciding what patches are appropriate for particular systems, ensuring that patches are installed properly, testing systems after installation, and documenting all associated procedures.Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues.Maintain documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance.Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.Troubleshoot issues and outages.Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.Minimum 4 years of system administration experience.Experience with VMWare and storage environments, NetApp experience preferred.Patch Management & Patch Automation experience.Windows Server Environment: Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and O365.Experience with Windows SQL administration.Experience with cloud server administration.Experience with scripting in PowerShell and other automation tools.Assist in the creation of bid documents and management of vendors for multiple projects.Attain and manage enterprise support contracts with vendors providing 24/7 coverage of all major technology systems.A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans.Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.Excellent communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field.System administration and IT certifications in Microsoft, or other system or network-related fields.PLEASE ATTACH RESUME WITH APPLICATION.
