Operating Room Technician, Same Day Surgery, Part time, Days

To assist the physician during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties. Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiologyKnowledge of surgical practices and medical terminologyKnowledge of sterile technique and precautionsKnowledge of surgical instruments, supplies, equipment and their useHigh school graduate or GED preferredCompletion of Operating Room Technician program with certification preferredPrevious operating room experience preferredAbility to apply this knowledge to pediatric and adult patientsCurrent BCLS card
