Beacon Healthcare Group is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee the nursing department care for the residents in our Harrisonville, MO location. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, cool-tempered, and will have experience in providing diverse basic care to those who need it. Our goal is to promote patient wellness by providing the highest quality of nursing care in the area. This role is as rewarding as it is demanding, but if you bring the passion, we’ll bring the paycheck.

Salary per year up to $110,000.00

Responsibilities:

Must possess an unencumbered Registered Nurse’s Licensure.

Must be CPR Certified.

Create and maintain a positive working relationship with Residents, Families, visitors, and facility staff.

Support practices, philosophy, nursing objectives and standards of the Nursing Department and participate in the revision of the aforementioned items as necessary to ensure quality of care to all residents.

Monitor and maintain appropriate evaluations as needed to ensure current practices and procedures are being followed.

Identify safety concerns and take appropriate actions to maintain and assure Resident safety.

Ensure implementation of Resident's care planning process in compliance with resident’s needs, facility policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Ensure the process of an in-service staff development program that contributes to meeting nursing objectives and policies and procedures to comply with state and federal regulations.

Ensure that the nursing department is sufficiently staffed to provide quality care to residents.

Support, cooperate with, and implement specific procedures and programs for safety, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Support and participate in teamwork with co-workers, using tactful, appropriate communication in sensitive and emotional situations, reporting complaints, problems, and concerns regarding co-workers, management, or residents in accordance with company policy.
