On their behalf, we manage (or “service”) their loan portfolios, which means that we collect homeowners’ mortgage payments, pay their tax and insurance bills, and help homeowners in default to get current.Primary FunctionThe Team Lead - Foreclosure is responsible for achieving pre-set Foreclosure goals, timelines, and objectives. The Team Lead mentors Foreclosure Specialists and supports the Foreclosure Manager. Follows all rules and laws while maintaining a high level of quality and compliance as related to foreclosures.Direct ReportsN/APrincipal DutiesComplete foreclosure sales within established Investor timeline schedules. Timely addresses low value properties and monitor proper foreclosure delays.Mentor Foreclosure Specialists, while assisting Manager with tasks such as scheduling, meetings, training, and creating a positive work environment.Assist Foreclosure Specialists dealing with escalated accounts and ensure necessary steps are taken to resolve them within established deadlines.Be available to Foreclosure Specialists when they need assistance.Meet department standards as they relate to daily productivity metrics.Perform side by sides for new hires and existing employees.Assist Foreclosure Manager with review and compilation of investor, insurer, and client reporting requests as needed.Point of contact for new hires and existing employees.Perform additional projects and duties as assigned by Management.Education and Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent, required.College degree preferred.6+ years’ experience working with foreclosures in a servicing/collection’s environment.1+ years of experience working with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Government guidelines required.Prior leadership experience preferred.Knowledge, Skill, and Ability RequirementsThorough knowledge of computer operations, as well as state and federal legal requirements with collections procedures, bankruptcies, foreclosure, and keeping abreast of current requirements and changing legislation.Strong oral and written communication skills and good telephone etiquette.Strong numeric aptitude, problem solving and analytical skills.Strong ability to lead.Detail-oriented and organized.Able to meet goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to meet department attendance standards.Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).LoanSphere/BKFS experience required.While this description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the position’s requirements, it in no way implies/states that these are the only job responsibilities.
