Seeking a highly motivated individual with experience developing enterprise class software. The individual would have a strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and implementation practices. The candidate should be able to manage assigned projects and meet deadlines. This position requires limited client contact and limited to no travel. Located in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

Learn complex scheduling logicDevelop knowledge of manufacturing processes and how those processes are scheduledWork with offshore development team to design, implement, and enhance our current Manufacturing Optimization application

Required Skills/Knowledge

Experience working with and designing algorithms to solve complex problemsMust have in-depth programming knowledge in C# with a minimum five years of experienceMust have client-side development experience using Angular and JavaScriptExperience working with MS SQL Server databaseStrong background developing applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and Team ServicesSelf-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructureStrong communication skills and ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutionsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering

Preferred Skills/Knowledge

Microservice development experience in Azure CloudFamiliarity with Supply Chain Planning, especially in manufacturing process optimization concepts and solutionsExperience working in an Agile development environmentGood team player

Other

This position will report to the development lead of our Manufacturing Optimization applicationThis position will not initially manage personnel
