The Child and Family Guidance Center

is seeking a

Community Living Support Specialist

to play a key role in delivering curriculum-based skills training to individuals working on a diverse range of needs, from independent living skills to positive communication.

In this role, you'll empower our YES Waiver participants to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life through providing direct services, implementing skills training, crisis intervention, documentation, and fostering a supportive environment.

Provide direct services to assigned individuals in the communityDeliver Psychiatric Rehabilitative Services (individual and/or groups) in accordance with state regulationsOffer Skills Training and Development alongside Community Living SupportsProvide crisis intervention and problem-solving assistance to YES Waiver participants and staffMaintain timely and thorough documentationWhat you bring

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years related experience and/or mental health training preferredValid driver's license and vehicle insurance requiredExperience in case management and skills training within the YES Waiver ProgramExperience working with individuals with mental illness and/or addiction issues preferredStrong assessment and coordination skills with effective communication abilitiesKnowledge of the social services system and resource connectionsProficient writing skills for professional communication and documentationAbility to remain calm and logical in challenging situationsIf this sounds like you, we can’t wait to hear from you!At the Child and Family Guidance Center, we offer more than just a job; we provide a rewarding career where you can make a real difference in people's lives.
