JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer III is expected to be an expert/subject matter expert in multiple facets of IT administration, including cloud and on-prem technology stacks. Additionally, exceptional interpersonal, communication, documentation, and customer service skills are expected. This role is crucial in maintaining and supporting systems that are integral to every business unit within the company. Any downtime or failure in these systems can lead to significant revenue loss, as they are essential for the seamless operation of various business functions. The Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer III will also be responsible for leading projects and mentoring junior team members.

SCOPE OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCloud and on-prem servers, desktops, laptops, tablets, and virtual desktop environments; this includes provisioning, deprovisioning, backups and restores, troubleshooting, configuring, monitoring, patching, vulnerability remediation, and testingCloud and on-prem network infrastructure including deployment for firewalls, routers, SSLVPN, switches, and wireless access pointsCloud telephony platforms including RingCentral and Nice InContactCloud-based identity management platforms including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure Active DirectoryMobile device management including Microsoft Endpoint Manager / IntuneDevice imaging including Microsoft AutopilotMicrosoft 365 cloud technology stacks, including Exchange Online, Endpoint Manager, OneDrive, and TeamsDomain management including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and SSL certificatesOversee endpoint deployments to ensure accuracy and consistencyIT-owned inventory including hardware, resources, and applicationsAssist with disaster recovery efforts, including testing, training, and documentationServe as a training and escalation resource (Tier III) for the IT Support Desk TeamManage and troubleshoot audio/visual equipmentInvestigate complex problems and identify root causes, test, implement, and document solutionsMaintain current and accurate standard operating proceduresCreate and maintain meticulous documentation of technology systemsMaintain confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the end-users on the networkSend out company-wide notifications of IT-related maintenance and outages

JOB REQUIREMENTSAt least five to seven years of IT-related experienceThe candidate must possess at least a 2-year degree or equivalent technical training, along with relevant technical certificationsMust be able to perform advanced IT-troubleshooting stepsMust provide updates to management on outstanding tasks and projects on a regular basisMust be willing to travel to MCCU’s branches and datacenters when necessaryMust complete approved technical development training coursesMust complete security awareness and required credit union training coursesOn occasion, may be asked to stay extended hours for IT maintenance or project-related workMust train, develop, and mentor junior IT staffStrong oral and written communication skillsDetail-orientedStrong organizational and planning skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentProvides friendly, prompt, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and associatesMaintains a dependable record of attendance and timelinessAbility to learn the Credit Union’s products and servicesMust adhere to best practices
