Mainframe Systems Programmer

We are looking for a senior-level individual with 5+ years in IBM Mainframe and z/OS Systems Programming. The ideal candidate will have experience with z/OS internals (JES2, SMS, HSM); z/OS communications (TCP/IP and VTAM); JCL; IBM Utilities (IEBGENER, etc.); REXX (Python a plus); VSAM; DB2; and sequential data formats. Familiarity with programming languages such as Cobol and IBM Assembler is required, and experience with Java is a plus.The candidate should also have experience in z/OS Operations activities, e.g., IPLs, Stand Alone Dump, and console operations. Additionally, the candidate needs to have experience with mentoring and sharing technical knowledge, providing technical guidance and feedback to junior Systems Programmers. The role will involve delivering work for the client and leading a team of 8-10 entry-level systems programmers.ONSITE in Omaha, NE.
