We are looking for an Admissions Representative to join our team.

Under direct supervision, this position will recruit qualified students for the college’s academic programs in a compliant, appropriate and professional manner. Responsibilities include:

Provide basic information, routine guidance and assistance to potential students on matters related to enrollment and the admissions process.

Evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues, and problems, ensuring appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the student and Unitek College.

Uphold enrollment standards by complying with governmental regulations and standards of accreditation.

Demonstrate positive attitude and motivation, concern for students, teamwork, excellent time management skills, and a strong work ethic.

Use company-approved admissions materials during telephone calls, interviews, and the enrollment process.

Observe and adhere to all company policies and best practices.

Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate course of action.

Building Relationships

Take inquiry calls from potential students and encourage qualified prospects to schedule an interview.

Return web inquiries and calls promptly with accurate information about the programs.

Make outbound phone calls to potential students expressing interest in attending the institution.

Participate in organized phone-a-thons and dialing campaigns according to company best practices.

Initiate unsolicited leads and generate new business when not responding to outstanding inquiries.

Follow up on all inquiries that fail to schedule or show for an interview.

Follow up with interviews that did not progress in the enrollment process and resolve any issues or concerns.

Interviews

Schedule and conduct student interviews, ensuring compliance with company policy regarding Financial Aid.

Utilize only approved company materials during the interview process.

Explain program offerings and match the college’s benefits to the student’s needs.

Ensure admissions management meets with the potential student and is well informed about their motivations and concerns.

Mentoring and Guidance

Provide basic information and routine advice regarding available programs and eligibility requirements.

Serve as a liaison between student and campus, assisting in the completion of enrollment forms.

Mentor and advise students to help them identify their unique skills and interests.

Address easily-resolved inquiries and ensure appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the student and regulatory agencies.

Administrative

Accurately account for all inquiries and admissions activity.

Complete daily activity reports.

Ensure all pre-start paperwork is completed accurately and timely.

Keep all required reports current and accurate.

Attend and complete all required training for this position.

Perform other duties as assigned by local leaders.

Attend meetings as directed by supervisor.

Pay Range: $50k - 60k per year Depending on Experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Internal hire: minimum 1 year as Admissions Representative Campus Associate.

External hire: minimum 2 years customer service, telemarketing or sales experience.

Demonstrated ability to fulfill company key behaviors.

Excellent presentation skills.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job.
