Position Overview:
As a Mid to Senior-Level Hyperion Financial System Developer at [Company Name], you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing our Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Hyperion Planning applications. You will work closely with finance, IT, and other business units to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of financial systems that meet our business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
System Design & Development:Design, develop, and implement Hyperion applications including Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), and Essbase.
Customize and enhance existing Hyperion applications to meet evolving business requirements.
Develop and maintain business rules, calculation scripts, and data integrations.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:Provide technical support for Hyperion applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to performance, data integration, and system errors.
Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies.
Project Management:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and develop technical specifications.
Lead or participate in project planning, execution, and review activities.
Ensure timely delivery of projects, adhering to quality and budget constraints.
Documentation & Training:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and changes.
Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders as needed.
Best Practices & Compliance:Stay updated with the latest Hyperion technologies and industry best practices.
Ensure systems comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Hyperion Certification) is a plus.
Experience:4-8 years of experience in developing and supporting Hyperion Financial applications, with a proven track record of successful projects.
Strong experience with Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), and Essbase.
Experience with data integration tools such as FDMEE or ODI is desirable.
Skills:Proficient in SQL, MDX, and Hyperion scripting languages.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based Hyperion solutions.
Knowledge of other ERP systems and financial software.
Project management experience or certification.
