IT Support Specialist and Assistant

to President/CEO with Computer Network/IT Support Responsibilities

Job Description

Our company, Global Chemicals Corporation (www.globalchemicalscorp.com), is seeking qualified candidates for Executive and Technical Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer and his staff members and employees.

Requirements:

Microsoft 365 Administrator Certified

Completed Course AZ-040T00-A: Automating Administration with PowerShell

Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with corporate executives, senior managers, immediate supervisors, co-workers, job applicants and service providers/contractors;

Knowledge of commonly used concepts, best practices and procedures within Food, Nutritional and Pharmaceutical Industries

Ability to follow and comply with Executives’ and Senior Manager’s instructions and pre-established policies and procedures to perform all functions of the job.

Ability to work under immediate supervision as primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment or decision-making authority.

Ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters and personalities without negatively affecting our company’s reputation

Abilities to multi-task and prioritize work assignments from supervisors;

Willingness to be trained in other functions or departments and willingness to help out or cover the duties and responsibilities of other co-workers.

Executive Support Responsibilities:

Performing general administrative duties for the Company’s President/CEO and handling in strict confidence and utmost care multiple business and personal matters.

Arranging corporate events and gifts for performance recognition and staff appreciation.

Performing internal audit of inventories of our Company and affiliates stored in different warehouses on monthly basis.

Performing other duties including running errands related to the company’s business.

Computer Network/IT Support Requirements and Responsibilities

Complete detailed reports listing requests for technical assistance from staff members, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved;

Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns from employees and clients;

Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardware;

Maintain a working log detailed all required system updates;

Attend in-person meetings with employees, third party contractors and clients to analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose IT systems-related issues;

Resolve technical issues related to network interruptions;

Install and configure computer systems and applications within the company;

Establish and maintain IT and digital communication infrastructure;

Establish and maintain digital communication software;

Train new staff to operate within the company’s IT systems;

Make sure that the networks are protected from malware and viruses;

Install and maintain firewalls;

Provide technical support and assistance to employees, clients and third party contractors;

Perform analysis and collect data to establish the potential for improvements within the communication networks;

Work with third-party providers to keep the networks running smoothly.

Job Type:

Full-time

Pay:

$60,890.00 - $100,500.00 per year
