This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced agile team that works with the latest technologies and patterns to design and develop next-gen Esri software.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop leading-edge data editing tools for stereoscopic environmentSolve complex problems with design, algorithms, development, and user experienceFind, analyze, and fix bugs and performance issues in a timely mannerBuild and ship quality software by working effectively with members of other software development teams in an agile, highly interactive, and creative environmentRequirements5+ years of experience with C++ (STL, C++ 17, Boost) working in the field of 3D computer graphicsFamiliar with 2D/3D visualization algorithms and GPU-based processingFundamental knowledge of computational geometry data structures and algorithmsExperience with C# and WPFAbility to analyze, clearly describe, and propose solutions to problemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's in computer science, remote sensing, graphics, mathematics, or related fieldRecommended QualificationsExperience in GIS data structures and algorithms, geospatial and GIS knowledgeKnowledge of multi-threaded development and architectureKnowledge of Esri products or similar GIS or spatial softwarePrior experience with software development and release of commercial software productsMaster's or Ph.D. in computer science, remote sensing, graphics, mathematics, or related fieldTotal RewardsEsri's competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
