Sinai-Grace’s joint replacement program features a revolutionary minimally invasive knee and hip replacement surgery that attracts patients from all over the country. Sinai-Grace operates more than 21 outpatient care sites and ambulatory surgery centers throughout Wayne and Oakland Counties and is one of 10 hospitals in the nation to be awarded a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant to help set the standards of cardiac care for hospitals and physicians throughout the nation.Summary Description:Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, carries out all technical aspects of cardiac catheterization procedures.Assesses all parameters and performance during procedures.Required to make value judgments pertaining to patient condition and safety.
Qualifications:Associates degree in Science with a major in Cardiovascular Technology, orCompletion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Training Program and/or equivalent combination of education and job-related experience, orCompletion of the first year of a two-year accredited Cardiovascular program.Registration with the National Board of Cardio Vascular Testing preferred.Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) within 6 months of hire for employees working in adult settings or Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (PALS) within 1 year of hire for employees working in pediatric settings.Job:
