The Cloud Engineer will design, develop, and maintain cloud-based systems, ensuring efficient data storage and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and technical direction. You will architect a highly distributed cloud system and respond to operational issues. Coordination with customer management and field operators, engineers, other contractors, and vendors is necessary to meet requirements and maintain critical operations.Minimum Basic Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education, and Credentials include:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer/Information Security, Network Administration, or other related discipline, or Master's in Computer Science or related field.Additional education, training, certifications, or work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.5 years of technical experience with a basic understanding of programming languages and development tools (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby, .NET/C#, HTML, PowerShell, CI/CD, etc.)Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.).Experience developing solutions for the server side of scalable cloud software applications and platforms.Experience with cloud migration.Experience with OpenStack, Linux, AWS, Azure, DevOps, NoSQL, etc.Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator or Red Hat Certified Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Professional, or Cloud certifications (Cloud+ or Certified Cloud Security Professional) is preferred.Clearance Requirement: Active TS clearance is required.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledAccommodations:If you are a qualified individual with a disability or a disabled veteran, you may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to access job openings or apply for a job on this site as a result of your disability.
