Main duties of the job:
The Dispensary Manager will be expected to coordinate the team and support the delivery of an excellent service to our dispensing patients, by:Ensuring the service meets the DSQS standards;Completing the monthly, quarterly and annual dispensary returns, running searches on the practice clinical system and completing the necessary audits;Developing, reviewing and improving standard operating procedures and policies;Managing the day-to-day running of a team of 9, including rotas and performance;Maintaining stocks, ensuring profitability and business sustainability, regularly reviewing drug supplier deals and offers and changing procurement where needed to ensure value for money.
