Staff Nurse RN
(0.5 FTE: 5 days/pay period, 8 hour shifts) for our GI & Liver Clinic in downtown Minneapolis to work day shift.
***This position is currently Monday-Friday day hours but may expand to include evenings and weekends as we grow.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing healthTriaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of careAlleviating suffering through the treatment of the human responsePartnering with the patient, their family and significant othersDocumenting interventions and an individualized plan of careEducating patient on their disease processAssuring continuity of careEducating patient and family in preventative care which promotes health and well beingQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum QualificationsGraduation from an accredited school of nursingPossession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota2 years of RN experienceBLS certificationPreferred QualificationsCertification in area of clinical specialtyAmbulatory clinic experienceBSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged.
