Contract (3 months)Job Description:Certifications:Azure Security Engineer Associate (Must)Azure Solutions Architect Expert (A Plus)Additional relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).Experience:Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including architecture, deployment, and security management.Proven experience in DevSecOps practices, including integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and automating security processes.Technical Skills:Azure Security: In-depth knowledge of Azure services and architecture, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Azure Policy.DevSecOps: Expertise in integrating security into DevSecOps practices.Kubernetes: Strong understanding and practical experience with Kubernetes security, including network policies, RBAC, and securing containerized applications.Container Security: Proficiency in securing containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, implementing best practices for image scanning, runtime protection, and compliance.Security Principles: Comprehensive understanding of security principles, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, encryption, and data protection.Automation: Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Terraform) to enhance security monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure management.Compliance: Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST.Zero Trust: Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and implementation.Infrastructure-as-Code: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform.Experience in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and threat modeling.Our client is looking for an Azure Cloud Security Architect for a Contract to Hire opportunity. This position requires someone to design, build, document, and identify opportunities in a new Azure Cloud Security environment. The goal is to migrate from an On-Premise environment to the Cloud.The position requires hands-on Azure Security experience and expertise in building a new environment from scratch. It is critical that this person is an expert in Azure Cloud Security. Ideally, we would prefer someone with a Financial Services background in either Insurance or Banking. Additionally, we would greatly prefer someone with experience with AWS and Google Cloud Security.The right candidate is able to communicate effectively in a diplomatic manner while operating as the Azure Cloud Security expert. This is a high-visibility position that will interact with all levels of the organization. This is a fast-paced organization and will require someone to be able to move quickly while still maintaining an attention to detail.
