Join our world-class team today!Position Specific DescriptionPower Generation Clean Water Recovery Center Internship position:Under direct supervision, this entry level technical internship performs and documents laboratory analyses in a safe and timely manner in accordance with approved laboratory SOPs referenced from Standard Methods, EPA, and ASTM. Develops knowledge and skills within a specific practice area works on water treatment, chemical analysis of water and water quality.Candidates must have cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to be consideredSome of the responsibilities for our chemistry internships are listed below:Entry level technical position performs and documents laboratory analyses in a safe and timely manner in accordance with approved test methods and NELAC/TNI/ASTM quality control requirements.Generate reports of analysesMaintain proper sample integrity, preservation, and logs.Properly manage waste generation.Learn the process and operations of water treatment facilityJob may include other misc. duties as assigned.Those pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry will be considered. College level chemistry laboratory experience desired.This role is not open for sponsorship now or in the future. It is the applicant’s responsibility to obtain and maintain work authorization throughout their employment with the company.Job OverviewTo be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher.
