ENERCON's Power Delivery group is seeking a Mid-Senior Distribution Engineer to join the team in the Lake Mary (Orlando), FL, Tampa, FL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Pensacola, FL or Kennesaw, GA office location. From reviewing design products to providing technical guidance and leadership, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with your work every day.Responsibilities
Problem identification and resolution on Distribution design projectsReview completed designs and design products to ensure compliance with client, industry and regulatory requirementsReview design products to ensure compliance with quality and consistency expectationsApply client, industry and regulatory standards and requirements to existing distribution system componentsCommunicate effectively with internal, client and regulatory counterpartsMaintain production in a changing environmentProvide technical guidance, leadership, and effectively manage workloads for assigned team membersQualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering (or similar), or equivalent education and/or experienceMinimum of 3 years of Power Delivery experience requiredStrong knowledge of electrical distribution system design engineering standards and practices, and regulatory requirementsKnowledge of NESC and other applicable codes and standardsStrong computer (e.g. Microsoft Office) and communication skills (verbal and written)Willingness to learn and operate client provided programs and systemsAbility to work effectively with a teamAbility to travel up to 20 - 25% of the time to client sites (expected to travel at least one time per month) for project and/or marketing meetingsAdditional Information
