Senior UI Developer

Job PurposeThe Velocify team within ICE Mortgage Technology is hiring a Senior UI Developer to help Velocify automate everything that is automatable in the home loan approval process. The Velocify team specifically creates web-based software to manage leads for loan officers allowing them to prioritize, distribute, and work the leads through their organization's workflow.As a Senior UI Developer supporting the Prospect Engagement vertical of Velocify, you will apply your knowledge of design & development to help your team deliver features to our customers and work with cutting edge UI and UX technologies. You will be responsible to write clean, efficient and bug free code. You will also play a critical part supporting upcoming tech initiatives and customer defects.ResponsibilitiesWorking on Micro-Frontend based applications.Improving the application performance using best practices.Writing the code in AngularJS/ReactJS with custom code/existing components library.Working collaboratively to write quality code and meet delivery targets.Knowledge and ExperienceBachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.4 - 6+ years of experience working on UI projects using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.2+ years of experience developing UI screens that consume Rest APIs.Demonstrated understanding of API calls and parsing results returned by APIs.3+ years of experience working with ReactJS or similar JavaScript frameworks.Coding expertise using core JavaScript.Strong understanding of Web Programming.Knowledge of Jira, Git, Jenkins.Familiarity working in a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) leveraging Agile principles.Writing Unit and Integration test cases using frameworks like Jest.Excellent analytical, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.Hands-on experience with performance improvements when loading web pages and calling APIs.PreferredKnowledge of design framework.Understanding of how the JavaScript engine works.Working experience with Angular, Vue frameworks.AWS EC2, S3 buckets.Familiarity with Salesforce front end development.ScheduleThis role offers work from home flexibility of 1 day per week.Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
