Design, implement, and maintain security controls and architectures to protect the company's Data cloud infrastructure, applications, and data from cyber threats.Partner with Platform & Data Engineering teams to create visibility and awareness of security issues and work to prioritize their resolution in a collaborative way.Lead strategic cross-functional security projects across Business Units and Data Systems.Monitor and respond to security incidents, investigate potential threats, and perform root cause analysis.Run Quarterly Audit reports on users access and Authorization.Develop and maintain security standard operating procedures, and policies in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, NIST CSF).Stay informed of the latest developments in tactics, techniques, and procedures related to application & infrastructure vulnerabilities - especially in the healthcare space - and adapt the strategy or tooling to address new threats.What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field OR equivalent experienceMinimum 3-5 years of experience in data security, infrastructure security, or a related cybersecurity role.Solid understanding of data security principles, architectures, and services (AWS or Azure preferred)Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Datalakes (S3), Data-Warehouses, and Databases.Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST CSF, HIPAA, MITRE ATT&CK).Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.Policy Data retention and recovery implementationsData Access and Authorization, Auditibility, IDM integration and MFAEncryption and Masking best practicesNice to Have
Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, GIAC).Expertise in AWS security controls, monitoring, and orchestration (SCPs, Guard Duty, Config, Macie, etc.)Working familiarity with Terraform, Github, DevSecOps workflows and Python.Compensation and Benefits
Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company.
