Structural BIM Engineer

to join our team. As a Structural BIM Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for our clients' structural systems. This role requires a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and expertise in BIM software.

Responsibilities

Create and develop detailed BIM models of structural systems using software such as Autodesk Revit.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to integrate structural systems into the overall BIM model.

Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between different systems within the model.

Review and verify construction drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors to incorporate their input and ensure accurate representation of their structural systems in the BIM model.

Stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices for BIM modeling.

Conduct quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of BIM models and associated documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Proven experience as a Structural BIM Engineer or in a similar role.

Proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, or Tekla Structures.

Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and systems.

Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.

Experience with clash detection software and coordination with other disciplines.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of concrete, steel, and timber structural systems is essential.

Professional certifications in BIM, such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP), are a plus.
