Job Description:The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of patients. The Clinic RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice, and coordination of care with other health team members in an outpatient clinic setting. Clinic RNs are pivotal members of the care delivery team headed by the physician and have specialized knowledge, skills, and ability pertinent to ambulatory care patient needs. This Registered Nurse Clinic position is a shared position between two Primary Care Clinics: Lowry and Congress Park.Posting Specifics:Benefits Eligible: YesShift Details: Full-time Monday - Friday 8 am to 4:30 pmPrimary Care Clinics: RN will float between Congress Park Clinic (2 days) and Lowry Clinic (2 days) and alternating every Wednesday.Minimum Qualifications:ASN / ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain your BSN from an accredited program within four (4) years of hire unless you possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting, required.Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Colorado RN license, required.Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire (with prior approval), required.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution.
