Responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software that is delivered within scope, with high quality, on time, and within budget.

Work closely with business partners and technology team members to understand business requirements, perform analysis, and design quality technical solutions that comply with the organization's architectural standards. Provide technical guidance to the development team through the full software life cycle.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations on improving the product to meet business and information risk requirements.Evaluate service level issues and suggested enhancements to diagnose and address underlying system problems and inefficiencies.Participate in full development lifecycle activities for the product (coding, testing, release activities).Support release activities on weekends as required.Support any application issues reported during weekends.Coordinate day-to-day activities for multiple projects with onshore and offshore team members.Ensure the availability of the platform in lower environments.Assess and recommend solutions for permanent fixes to improve application stability and resiliency.Handle production incident bridge calls for P1 and high priority P2 incidents.Demonstrate strong analytical capability to perform independent ticket analysis and resolution.Assist other team members in resolving their technical issues.Mentor interns and new joiners.Monitor and report issues and work with the required team/vendor for quick resolution.

Required QualificationsStrong footprint in the definition, design, and delivery of applications, including knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).7-10 years of development experience with RESTful services and/or Microservices.Strong working knowledge of cloud application development in AWS environment, including server-less development, RDS, and containerization.Experience and/or certification with the AWS environment, including EKS, S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, Aurora.Strong knowledge of SQL/PL-SQL and Oracle databases, with the ability to debug complex queries.Experience on AWS environment, data pipelines, RDS, reporting tools.Strong understanding of OOAD and design patterns with hands-on implementation.Hands-on experience with version control tools like Stash/GIT.Knowledge in Oracle/IBM DB2 databases.Good understanding of Agile/Scrum cycle development.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with various levels of management and translate detailed analysis into high-level business requirements.Strong interpersonal skills with a history of maintaining good working relationships with business partner teams and other technology stakeholders.Self-motivated with a high level of commitment.At least 4 years of experience on ServiceNow for application incident management and problem management in a 24*7 model.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to follow processes.
