Senior Software Engineer
to join our
R&D - DevOps Team .As a Senior Software Engineer for the DevOps Team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the DevOps approach within an organization. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between development and operations teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient delivery of high-quality software products. You should know how to design, implement, and maintain tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) of software. The primary goal is to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve the overall user experience, quality, and reliability of software products.Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and maintain continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) processes using tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, etc.Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.Automate, manage, and optimize the deployment and infrastructure of applications on public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.Monitor and manage infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.Choose the best tools and technologies that fit business needs.Lead platform upgrades/migrations independently.Manage stakeholders and mentor junior software developers in gaining experience while assuming DevOps responsibilities.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, then utilize them to enhance the software infrastructure.Qualifications:
BE/ME/MCA or any other degree in a related field or equivalent.6-9 years of relevant DevOps experience.Hands-on experience with various DevOps concepts and tools like Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory/Nexus.Experiential learning with Infrastructure as Code tools (like Terraform, Ansible).Practical experience in building, designing, and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.Strong knowledge of Shell scripting and any other programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Java.Implemented monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana for monitoring infrastructure.Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Data Protection, Privacy, and Security domain.This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend on-site meetings only occasionally based on business needs.
