CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (CFS) and Sorrento Pacific Financial, LLC. (SPF) , a subsidiary of Atria Wealth Solutions, is looking for a Financial Advisor to work remotely in an in-house capacity and serve as a centralized resource to various financial institution programs that utilize CFS/SPF as a broker-dealer.

While this is a remote (work from home) position, candidates will need to reside in the Greater Los Angeles, CA area.

Responsibilities:

Focus on sales and service of existing house accounts and assigned accounts from outside representatives and programs.Work remotely with clients utilizing all of the firm’s remote delivery tools.Partner with remote delivery credit unions.Identify and evaluate customer needs for financial services, assess the objectives and goals of the individual, then develop a financial plan which may include an investment strategy to implement.Utilize the CFS/SPF sales process and financial planning tools to collect and analyze client financial information.Advise customers regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products.Service and perform periodic reviews of existing client accounts and meet remotely with clients periodically to review and update client needs ensuring investment objectives and goals are progressing according to plan.Stay current and analyze market conditions while educating and updating themselves about financial and investment vehicles in the market and the tax and securities consequences to clients of particular investments.Conduct regular web-based client workshops/seminars on various topics (i.e., Social Security, Education planning, Retirement planning, etc.).Bring about the purchase or sale of financial products including executing the actual transactions that result from their financial advice. Follow through on the sales goals set forth by the Investment Program. Meet activity and production goals as outlined in Letter of Expectation.Develop/update business plan with Program Manager.Identify and develop relationships with Wholesalers.

Requirements:

Licenses and Registrations: FINRA Series 7, 63 & 65, or 66 and Life, Accident, Health & Insurance licenses.Clean U-4.Two years sales experience in the financial services industry.Customer service, communication, and presentation skills.An advanced level of performance, requiring minimum supervision.College Degree preferred.
