Description: Web Application Firewall (WAF) / Content Delivery Network (CDN) Architect to lead the design and implementation of Akamai WAF, CDN and Bot Protection for a new Azure landing zone architecture. This forms part of a wider cloud migration and transformation programme.
Tasks: Assessing the existing Akamai configurations Downstream proxy server rules for on-premises systems Designing a WAF/CDN migration plan Coordinating with teams Deploying the new components Ensuring seamless migration and integration with Azure Application Gateways to be stood up in the new landing zone Requirements: Strong background in one or more of Akamai, Azure Application Gateway, Cloudflare, and Azure Front Door Strong communication skills to guide the transition and support post-migration operations.
