DescriptionDirector of Perioperative Services – Surgical Services – Full Time (Days; On Call shifts may be required)Ste. We are proud to extend the mission of SGCMH by putting people first with excellent, personalized, and compassionate healthcare.What to expect as a Director of Perioperative Services:Accountable for the supervision, training and coaching of Operating Room (OR), One Day Surgery (ODS), and Central Sterile (CS) employees.Annual evaluations, mentoring, disciplinary initiatives, and all aspects of administrative responsibilities.Service contracts, repairs and maintenance of OR equipment.Responsible for the development of a balanced and accurate annual budget for OR/ODS/CS.Additional documentation relating to the projection and identification of additional revenue streams is expected and strict adherence to budget and management of FTE’s within areas of responsibility.Collaborate with clinics, surgeons, as well as Materials Management and other departmental leaders who participate in the overall care and support of our surgical patients, to ensure that equipment and resources are consistently available to meet patient and surgeon needs.Participate in organizational committees and others as necessary.Promote exceptional customer care, safety and service in their areas of responsibility.Accountable to operations 24/7 which may include call responsibilities during times of staff shortages.Qualifications:Current Missouri RN license.BSN, preferred.BLS, required.ACLS required.CNOR required.5 years of OR experience and previous management experience, preferred.Your next move:If interested please complete an application.SGCMH is an equal opportunity employer.
