Serves as work director/supervisor on audit and consultative engagements including: scheduling of resources in collaboration with other audit managers, providing mentoring and training to others in the department, serving as an expert on the audit process, reviewing all audit deliverables including work papers and reports, ensuring completeness and compliance with Group Policies and Institute of Internal Auditors Standards, and managing to the established timetable. You will help implement creative solutions and best practices throughout the department. Helps execute the strategic direction of the department. Provides administrative supervision and performance management to team members. You will report to the Internal Audit AVP.Supervise individual contributors within the IA department during assigned engagements including training, coaching, and performance managementServe as work director on audits and consultative engagements including review and approval of deliverablesProvide tactical management of the annual audit plan including scheduling and monitoring to ensure timely completion of the planServe as the team manager of the respective domain, facilitating a learning environment on pertinent business topics and risk exposuresServe as the key contact between the business and internal audit including senior management levelsEnsure compliance with Group, Internal Audit and IIA standards and processesSupport effective remediation activities for important risk exposures and audit findingsWhat you bring:6-7 years' experience required including working in a corporate setting with a minimum of 2 years of Audit or insurance industry-related experience requiredSome project management and/or people leadership experienceBachelor's degree requiredCIA, CPA, CISA, or CMA required or ability to obtain within 24 months of employmentWhat we offer:At Allianz Life, we're proud to provide a benefits package that supports the True Balance of our employees and their families.
