Preferred Qualifications

Role PurposeUnder the direction of an RN and/or physician, the Endoscopy technician assists with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including transporting patients, disinfecting and process equipment, preparing the procedure room, and assisting in patient care.ResponsibilitiesProcesses instruments and equipment, orders and keeps inventory of supplies, and maintains equipment.Maintains database for endoscopy, and keeps accurate statistics pertinent to endoscopy.Transports patients and assists patients with changing.Trains staff in areas specific to endoscopy instrument processing, supplies and the maintenance of equipment.Minimum RequirementsEducationHigh School Diploma or GEDExperienceNo ExperienceSupervisor ExperienceNo ExperiencePreferred RequirementsExperienceBenefits and Legal Statement
