Who we are looking forState Street is looking for a strong Analyst with 9+ years' experience in business, system, and data analysis for the Alpha and Middle Office Technology Team, which is part of Global Technology Services. This is a hands-on role for a candidate with a proven record of analyzing business requirements and mapping them to system and data requirements.

The candidate has experience in Financial Services, has supported Front/Middle/Back-office business units/clients, and has exposure to Workflow and Cash Processing. This individual should have demonstrable experience in business analysis with the ability to translate requirements to system and data requirements for developers and testers. The candidate should possess experience with various configurations, cross-system data mapping skills, and the ability to test end-to-end functionality from an end-user standpoint. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with creativity and self-motivation to deliver on mission-critical projects with tight timelines and competing priorities. This role also requires excellent cross-collaboration and negotiation skills to drive projects to successful outcomes.

What you will be responsible forProvide business analysis, system analysis, support modeling, and data mapping.End-to-end understanding of the platform, navigations, setup/configurations.Under direct supervision, plan, organize, and control the activities of cross-functional teams.Ability to perform testing and ensure that the requirements are fully functional.Coordinate overall project communications, risks, and issue resolution.Under direction, manage end-to-end project budget and resources when required.Coordinate project tracking and reporting.Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.Coordinate communication with sponsors and management concerning project status.Can also serve as manager of a release within a program.Identify and use best practices for processes.Clearly communicate both verbally and in written format.Demonstrate an understanding of the impact of problems across the organization and facilitate collaborative solutions.What we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this role:Excellent business analysis and system analysis skills.Ability to manage through complex issues and realign priorities and deliverables to ensure milestones and targets are achieved.Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills.Strong relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to work across global SSC business lines.Strong prioritization management and resource management skills.Education & Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree required.9+ years of financial services experience.6+ years of business analysis experience in the financial industry in Middle Office and Back-Office systems.Experience working with JIRA, Clarity, Confluence, and Agile framework.Strong PC skills, including office applications and project scheduling and flowcharting software.Expertise with project management methodology and tools and experience with budget and cost tracking.Scrum Master experience is a plus.About State StreetWhat we do.
