We have an opportunity to impact your career and provide an adventure where you can push the limits of what's possible.As a Lead Software Engineer PingFederate at JPMorgan Chase within Infrastructure Platforms, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.Job responsibilities:Work independentlyManage large scale deployments and work closely with the operations team to troubleshoot issues.Engineer the core JPMC Customer Authentication platform, integrate, configure, and support the PingFederate solution across all environments.Communicate effectively with application teams and address concerns.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experienceMinimum 5+ years of experience in the IAM domain with Federation protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML) with medium to large enterprisesExperience with PingFederate/PingAccess or similar Web Access Management (WAM)/SSO solutionsStrong understanding of OpenID Connect, OAuth, and SAML protocols.Strong understanding of how to protect APIs and Web Services.Scripting/programming skillsGood understanding of CI/CD automation toolsHands-on experience with UNIX and Windows environments.Ability to coach/mentor junior engineers.Ability to work in highly collaborative and cross-functional teams.Additional qualifications, capabilities, and skills:Experience on the Public Cloud with the Ping product stack (Ping Federate, Ping Access) and Transmit Security / ForgeRock productsExpertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplinesKnowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practicesKeen understanding of financial control and budget managementAbility to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and a passion for building an innovative cultureABOUT US
