Senior Linux System/Network Administrator – TS/SCI w/Poly

You haven’t signed in yet so please select ‘I accept’ to start or access your Jacobs Career Application.Your Impact:You will be joining a dynamic team to provide support to mission systems, including system administration, system maintenance, hardware bread/fix, and software licensing for an enclave consisting of approximately 50 host/network devices.Responsibilities:Test, troubleshoot, maintain, configure, and improve network and user systems.Employ networking best practices, including BGP routing, troubleshooting connectivity, and configuring/maintaining network devices.Interact with local analyst and resolve network and/or computer system issues.Create and maintain SharePoint and Confluence sites.Provide monthly activity report to include system outages.Configure, reconfigure, or install GFE software and COTS/GOTS as required.Maintain enclave System Security Plans (SSP)/Secure the Enterprise (STE)/Secure the Net (STN) requirements.Here's What You'll Need:Proficiency with Linux OSExperience with NetApp data filersExperience conducting system security scansExperience maintaining enclave System Security Plans (SSP)/Secure the Enterprise (STE)/Secure the Net (STN) and sustainment.Experience with SharePoint and ConfluenceExperience with JiraClearance Required:TS/SCI w/PolyMinimum Education:Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6-years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree plus 10-years of relevant experience, or High School diploma/GED plus 12-yearsDegree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.Preferred:Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and A+ certificates.Experience with system/network device migration.Primary Location
