This is a full time, exempt role. This is a hybrid or remote opportunity.POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for applying in-depth knowledge of technical methodology and best practices of Project Management, Process Management & Process Improvement, Business Analytics, Metrics & Measures to drive strategic business objectives. This highly collaborative role reports to the Vice President of CL Business Operations while supporting the CL Rating team seeking ways to drive improvement and optimization through process improvement and operating model analysis.The role will work with key partners to ensure optimal efficiency through system enhancements and transformative initiatives. Engage and lead projects and initiatives impacting CL Rating. Provides consultation, insight and guidance to leaders and business units with respects to field and corporate needs around learning, development, and underwriting solutions. The role will assist with the development and implementation of learning, process and improvement plans.IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:Process engineer and architect for business initiatives related to operational transformation via technology solutions, data analysis, operating model analysis, workflow, and standard practice execution.Partner with business units to conduct end to end process reviews, the outcomes of which will be leveraged to create current state process mapping as well as future state mapping set to include proposed efficiency benefits.Responsible for supporting the implementation of process improvement strategies resulting in business changes and improvements within business unit or functional area. This can include determining rollout strategy, communication and change management plan, risk assessment, root cause analysis, leveraging data and metrics to make recommendations to stakeholders.End to end project management to ensure closure and/or continued ownership of projects, tools and deliverables.Responsible for taking actions necessary to ensure that the effectiveness and efficiency of the process are improved.Intervenes when necessary to solve process problems.Works with the business to ensure people and skill requirements of the process are met.Facilitates integrations of new opportunities and changes across departments into the process.Communicate process design and changing and evolving expectations with all impacted parties as issues arise.Understand financial impact, skill set requirements, and legal and compliance issues for a process.Conduct research around process performance reports inside and outside the industry to inform the Process Leads.Attempt to clear improvement obstacles and settle conflicts. Provide recommendation and utilize manager if needed.WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:2 - 5 years of experience.Possesses comprehensive level of knowledge within the discipline supported.A strong understanding of the underwriting process and rating teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask successfully.Understands & demonstrates the importance of developing and maintaining cooperative relationships at all levels of the organization, despite differing perspectives.Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Ability to utilize consultative and facilitative skills to address a business problem.Beginners level of technical expertise commensurate with the process needs.Bachelor’s degree and/or professional designations such as CPCU or CIC desired.Six Sigma or Lean background a plus.CAREER DEVELOPMENT:It’s not just a job, it’s a career, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
