Senior Audit Associate

Vaco Boston has partnered with a reputable CPA firm in the Boston area who is looking to add a Senior Audit Associate to their team.Responsibilities:Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution and final deliverables.Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules.Skillfully and accurately perform financial and compliance audits.Prepare and review audit work papers and adjusting trial balances.Analyze and compile financial statements into a written report to be presented to clients and coworkers.Continuously foster relationships with coworkers and clients.Qualifications:4 year Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related business field.CPA and/or Master's degree preferred.2-5 years of experience with a public accounting firm.Strong Microsoft Excel skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Work effectively and personably with clients and coworkers.Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
